Weighing in at 1lb (450g), the iDL300 packs robust identity management functionality into a remarkably small biometric computer.
The handheld computer includes on-board contactless card, barcode and optical fingerprint readers along with the latest digital camera technology for acquiring FIPS-201 compliant facial images, even under low-light levels. Two SAM slots allow for additional security capabilities. Depending on your needs, you can add an optional OCR/MRZ accessory to screen passports and drivers’ licenses or a contact card reader for validating PIV, TWIC and CAC cards.
As the first biometric mobile computer to incorporate standard 3G wireless capabilities, the iDL300 boasts the ultimate in connectivity with up to 7.2mb/s data transfer speeds supplemented by WiFi and Bluetooth communications. Additional features include a 3.7” color TFT LCD display at 640×480 resolution, built-in accelerometer to support both portrait and landscape perspectives and virtual keyboard.
